Seahawks defeat Vikings

The Seattle Seahawks did an outstanding job defeating the Minnesota Vikings (21-7) Monday night, December 10. This win puts the Seahawks securely in the hunt for a wild-card spot in the NFC.
Seattle’s offense put in a tremendous amount of work to keep the drive alive and get ahead of the Vikings, while the Seahawks defense got the job done once again stopping the Vikings from scoring. Sebastian Janikowski kicked field goals of 37 and 35 yards to account for all of Seattle’s scoring, Bobby Wagner had leaped over the line of scrimmage swatting Dan Bailey’s field goal attempt, immediately after Wagner’s field goal attempt Chris Carson followed the blocked kick with a two yard touchdown run with only 2:53 left to play, and Justin Coleman ended the Seattle Seahawks victory with a 29-yard fumble return for a touchdown only 18 seconds later.
Due to this weekends win the Seattle Seahawks will move on to play the San Francisco 49ers Sunday afternoon, December 16.
