SWHS Junior Makenna Peterson Places second in State

Sedro-Woolley High School student, junior Makenna Peterson went to state for the SWHS track team Thursday morning, May 23.

  Peterson competed in state for two different events which was the javelin, and discus. She achieved the second place medal in state for discus. “It felt so good knowing that all the hard work and time has made a difference in results, and I’m super proud that I was able to step up at a big meet and compete with all of my friends,” said Peterson.
