Kicking into High Gear, Varsity Girls Soccer Looking to Finish Strong

Sedro-Woolley High School’s varsity girls soccer team made a comeback to their recent loss last week after a senior night success, winning 5-0.
“This team is a really fast team, really physical team,” said coach Gary Warman.
An upsetting defeat against Lynden the girls have seen improvement while playing their opponents.
“I feel like everyone we play usually matches us,” said freshmen Alivia Hynds. Sedro-Woolley won four of their five games after their defeat against Lynden. Although Sedro-Woolley lost by two points against Lynden, they worked hard to keep it close.
“Our competitive value was excellent,” said Warman.
The players felt like they played their hearts out, and they did their best throughout the season.
“I thought we did good as a team,” said senior Chloe Hynds.
The end of the season is fast approaching and for many seniors on varsity, senior night was an emotional reminder that their final game is coming up, and will be their last game of their high school careers.
