Sedro-Woolley High School Girls Tennis players, junior Anna Rutherford and senior Maya Becerra competed in state for the NCAA 2-A Tennis meet.

Rutherford and Becerra competed extremely hard against their opponents which resulted in them becoming the NCAA 2-A fourth place champions statewide. “It felt absolutely amazing to place fourth. It’s hard work, but we also play because we love all parts of it, which includes the hard work and practices. Being at state was an added celebration on top,” said Anna Rutherford.
