The Seattle Seahawks Take Their First Win
The Seattle Seahawks won their first game (24-13) on Sunday September 23 against the Dallas Cowboys. Seattle got a glimpse of the old Seahawks after a (0-2) start to the season with several impressions from both offense and defense.
Chris Carson on Seattle’s offense was given six carries in the Seahawks opening drive. He earned the Seahawks one touchdown and finished with 32 carries resulting into 102 yards. Seattle’s defense sacked Dak Prescott five times from four different players including Jarran Reed who earned two sacks, Frank Clark, Barkevious Mingo, and Mychal Kendrick. More outstanding plays were made by Earl Thomas with two interceptions, and Bradley McDougald with a fumble recovery.
Several players were out with injuries including offensive lineman-center Justin Britt, left guard Ethan Pocic, and wide receiver Doug Baldwin.
The Seattle Seahawks did not have a good start to the beginning of the season, but with this game they have finally got themselves back on track. This week the Seahawks will prepare themselves to play against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday September 30.
