The bell rings and choir members are walking to the next lucky student. Nervous glances are exchanged as the singers shuffles in: music memorized, roses in hand, all in sparkling blue dresses and vests.
Last Friday the SWHS Jazz Choir surprised the recipients of Singing Valentines, bought by eager students supporting their annual fundraiser.
Sedro-Woolley High School teacher Brett Turner had a blast on Valentine’s Day with the traffic coming in and out of his room.
“I think it’s really fun and we should keep doing it. My only regret is that I didn’t send anyone a Singing Valentine,” said Turner.
