Student, activist, Subway sandwich maker, future President – all these and more have been used to describe Sedro-Wolley’s own Llyra Roe.
As Roe graduates this Spring she will leave behind a new SWHS Debate record for most points ever earned.
Roe has been involved in debate since her freshman year, and she has been President of the club for the last three years.
“Some of my best memories came from this team and I’m so thankful,” said Roe.
The previous record was set by Dan Vlasuk in 2003 with a cumulative 577 points.
Roe beat that, finishing off her high school career with 644 total points.
