Blue Horizons Jazz Choir opens on Jazz Night. The SWHS cafeteria was packed with eager listeners

Students, parents, and community members gathered in the Sedro-Woolley High School cafeteria Tuesday, Nov. 6 to listen to the SWHS Jazz Band and Blue Horizons Jazz Choir.

Hot drinks and snacks were donated for the audience to enjoy as they listened to the music that students had been working to master.

Junior Jazmine Brigham was pleased with her first Jazz Night with Blue Horizons “I thought we did great, genuinely.” Brigham’s favorite song of the evening was “When October Goes.”

Junior and soprano singer Zoe Slabodnik agrees that the night was a success, but favors the song “Duke’s Place.”

Brigham also applauded the SWHS Jazz Band for their great performance.

Together the two music programs joined forces to bring some soothing jazz to Sedro-Woolley.
