The Cubs led the pack last week in Blaine as they competed in a meet that led them across the Canadian border.

The Sedro-Woolley High School Cross Country team had an interesting meet on September 25, as they crossed over the Canadian border while competing in the 5K race that began in Blaine. Senior Rafe Holz took first place with Lachlan Boyd coming in second and Tove Schwiser coming in third. “It was a good race to prepare for the Nike Hole in the Wall meet.” The Nike meet is October 12 and is a prominent stop on the teams journey to a great overall season.“We have a lot of work to put in, but we’re getting there,” said Holz.
